"Does Parship’s matchmaking profiling really work?"

I took the Parship's Spanish version compatibility test. A proprietary test designed by Psychologists and Experts. It contains a 24 Personality Factors Report, each factor varying from 60 to 140 points, 100 points the mean value.

The complete Personality Report cost 59 Euros (nearly 80 pages!!!)

The compatibility/affinity between prospective mates is only a 2 integer figure like: 65PC(Compatibility Points).
(My matchlist: 8 women with affinity the highest=65PC the lowest=41PC, no one seemed to be really as compatible as a paying member will require, what I mean: I could easily reach that list of "prospective compatible women" searching by my own using Match.com free!!!)

What most caught my attention:
You can tune/synthesize/improve your compatibility/affinity with other members changing your search criteria, so the matching algorithm is not fully independent from searching!!!
E.G. Suppose you set "I am searching non-smoker only Spanish women from 30 to 40" and then you decide to change to "I am searching women from 25 to 60" your compatibility/affinity with other members changes!!!!

Membership costs (Spain)
120,00 Euros per 3 months
200,00 Euros per 6 months
228,00 Euros per year

Hello, Fernando,

no, the modification of the seek criteria has no effect on the matching result – but of course it leads to a new calculation of the partner list.

In the first instance the PARSHIP-principle balances the personality characteristics of two potential partners to determine if they will be able to manage a happy partnership in the long term. To a certain degree habits and interests also enter the matching. If a potential partner changes his profile (e.g. by expanding his/her hobbies, etc.) the matching score may change equivalently. This process becomes visible when the seek criteria changes and the partner list is newly calculated.

ChristianSinglesDating.com has, since 1993, focused on long-term relationships - NOT flirting. We have a detailed questionnaire designed for the conservative Christian which includes questions such as how often they attend church, how active they are in church, what percentage of income they even pay for tithe and offerings. We believe these are just a few of the questions a serious, Christian will want to know up front before meeting someone.

Our questionnaire also includes lifestyle questions such as diet, alcohol, cigarette smoking. Our members are allowed to also select what answers are acceptable from their potential mate. Therefore a non-smoker would never be matched with a smoker if that is clarified in their selections.

We even ask if the person believes premarital sex is okay, or whether sex is okay during the engagement, or whether they should wait until after marriage. We even ask about pornography. Some think this is unusual for a Christian site, but we think it is vital, because this is yet another question that helps clarify whether this person would be right for you or not.

There are no right and wrong answers, but it does allow for a serious relationship, knowing if the person meets your standards, right up front.

Does our questionnaire scare off the flirts? You bet! They don't wish to take the time to fill out the profile! And if you join a site and don't wish to know the answers to those questions, or share the answers to those questions, then our site wouldn't be for you.

Our site is also a world-wide dating site with members from all over the world.

God bless,
Nannette Thacker

Dear Ms. Knott:

Are there any Scientific Papers that substantiate Parship’s matchmaking profiling success?

Which is the weight assigned to personality traits over the whole profile?

Hello J,

I have a problem now,
to my post box there coming letters from parship.at with warnings of getting my case into judge. They demand from me to pay 179 euro (membership for 6 months) though I could never enter the site with the password and login that they sent to me (to my e-mail address).
When I wrote to them by their contact form asking for help they kept silent.
Now they are writing lettersto my post address demanding from me payment.
I wrote several letetrs asking for what services and where finally I can make this payment.
But they keep silent and keep writing these letters adding 15 euro per months for not paying.

Could anybody help me with this.
I am going to contact my lawyer in Vienna, but it is such a small summ and such a funny matter,
thought I could solve it in anyway.

Thank you,
Marina

Everybody, be carefull with parship.at!!!

My name is Marina and I got registered on the site of parship about 4 months ago.
When I got the entering data (login, passowrd) to my e-mail address ([email protected]) I couldn't enter with them the site parship.
I have written several letters to [email protected] in English,
but it looks like they don't speak this language. So I just stopped trying to enter the site

Now a more serious problem appeared , may be you can help me with this.

I began to get letters to my post address with warnings from [email protected]
that if I don't pay some fixed sum of money, they will go to the judge etc.

I wrote them asking first where can I make the payment,
second for what services shall I pay if I have never used the site.

But they answer with a slience and continue writing letters with warnings adding 15 euro per week.

Here is also some infor about the problems with parship:
